For the Son of man is about to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will give to each one according to his works.

but I say unto you that every one being angry with his brother, shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever may say to his brother, Thou scoundrel, shall be in danger of the council; and whosoever may say, Thou fool, shall be liable unto a hell of fire.

but to those who are of self-seeking, and disobedient to the truth, but obedient to unrighteousness, there are indignation and wrath.

But that servant knowing the will of his lord, and not preparing or doing according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

of how much more terrible punishment, do you think, the one having trodden under foot the Son of God, and counted the blood of the covenant, by which he was sanctified, common, and insulted the Spirit of grace; be counted worthy!

Hear ye another parable. A man was a landlord, who planted a vineyard, and placed a hedge around it, and dug a wine-trough in it, and built a tower, and gave it out to husbandmen, and went away. And when the time of the fruits drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, to receive his fruits; and the husbandmen taking his servants, beat one, and slew one, and stoned another. read more.
Again he sent other servants, more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. And afterward he sent to them his own son, saying, They will reverence my son. But the husbandmen, seeing the son, said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and take possession of his inheritance. And taking him, they cast him out of the vine-yard, and slew him. Then when the lord of the vine-yard may come, what will he do to those husbandmen? They say to Him, He will certainly destroy those wicked men, and give the vineyard to other husband-men, who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.

For as a man going away, called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods, to one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one; to each one according to his own ability; and departed. And his Lord responding said to him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, didst thou know that I gather where I have not sown, and reap where I have not strewn? Therefore it behooved thee to put my money in the bank, and having come, I would receive my own with the product. Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to the one having ten talents. For to every one having it shall be given, and he shall superabound: but from the one not having shall be taken away even that which he has. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into the darkness which is without: and there shall be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

For if God spared not the angels who sinned, but having sent them down to hell, committed them to chains of darkness to be kept unto judgment;

These are the beginnings of travails. But you take heed to yourselves: for they will deliver you into councils; and will beat you in the synagogues: and you shall stand before governors and kings on account of me, for a testimony unto them.

If after the manner of men I have fought with the wild beasts in Ephesus, what profit is it to me? If the dead rise not, let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die.
