for Jehovah your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Now the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly: and your whole spirit, and soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is faithful who calls you, who will also perform it.

But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you and keep you from evil.

In the fear of Jehovah is strong confidence, and his children shall have a place of refuge.

And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the storm; as brooks of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.

And there shall be a tabernacle for shade by day from the heat, and for a shelter and for a covert from storm and from rain.

God is known in her palaces as a high fortress.

The king is not saved by the multitude of his forces; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

And they went out, they and all their armies with them, a people numerous as the sand that is on the seashore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many. And all these kings met together, and came and encamped together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel. And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.

Our soul waiteth for Jehovah: he is our help and our shield.

Their strength! ... I will take heed to thee; for God is my high fortress. God, whose loving-kindness will come to meet me, God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
