But Jesus hearing it answered him, Fear not; only believe, and she shall be cured.

For God sent not his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes in him is not judged; but he that believes not has been judged already; because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

And hearing [this] they were distressed in mind, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men and brothers, what shall we do? And Peter said to them, Change your minds, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and your children, and to all that are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.

See that you refuse not him that speaks; for if they did not escape who refused him that gave answers on earth, much more shall we [not escape] who turn ourselves away from him in heaven;

To whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed by men but approved by God, elect, precious, do you also yourselves be built up living stones, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices well pleasing to God through Jesus Christ, for it is said in the Scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious, and he that believes on him shall not be ashamed.read more.
To you therefore who believe he is precious; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders rejected has become the head of a corner and a stone of stumbling and rock of offense, who stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.

He that believes on the Son of God has the testimony in himself; he that believes not God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony which God has testified concerning his Son.
