Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree,

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that every one believing in him may not perish but have eternal life.

who himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, that we having died to sins, may live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

Take heed to yourselves, therefore, and to all the flock in which the Holy Spirit has made you bishops, to feed the church of the Lord which he has purchased with his blood.

to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing to them their offenses, and has given to us the word of reconciliation.

But there were also false prophets among the people, as there shall also be false teachers among you, who shall bring in by stealth destructive heresies, even denying the master that bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction;

who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from the present evil life according to the will of God even our Father,

In this is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son a propitiation for our sins.

Whence he ought in all things to be assimilated to the brothers, that he may be a merciful and faithful chief priest as to things relating to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.

Husbands, love your wives as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it,

For if when enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more having become reconciled we shall be saved in his life.

And they came and said to him, Teacher, we know that you are true, and care for no one, for you respect not the face of men, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay tribute to Caesar or not? Shall we pay? or shall we not pay? But he knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, Why do you try me? And Jesus answered and said to them, Have faith in God; I tell you truly, that whoever shall say to this mountain, be raised up and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he says will be done, whatever he says shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all things whatever which you ask in prayer, believe that you shall receive them, and you shall have them. And when you stand praying, forgive if you have any thing against any, that your Father in heaven may also forgive your offenses.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son, the Saviour of the world.

For I delivered to you at first, what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might lead us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,

and walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us, an offering and sacrifice to God of good odor.

who gave himself a ransom for all, a testimony for its own times,

but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

And Jesus answered and said, teaching in the temple, How do the scribes say that the Christ is the Son of David? David himself said, by the Holy Spirit, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool. David himself calls him Lord, and whence is he his son? And the great multitude heard him gladly.

And one of the scribes coming forward hearing them disputing, knowing that he answered them well, asked him, What commandment is first of all? Jesus answered, First is, Hear Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength.read more.
Second is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said to him, Well, teacher, you have said truly; there is one [God], and no other but him; and to love him with all the heart, and all the understanding, and all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as himself, is more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices. And Jesus seeing him, that he answered understandingly, said to him, You are not far from the kingdom of God; and no one dared to question him more.

And he said to them, in parables, A man planted a vineyard and made a hedge about it, and dug a wine-vat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went abroad. And he sent a servant to the husbandmen at the time to receive from the husbandmen of the fruits of the vineyard; and they took him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.read more.
And again he sent another servant to them, and they wounded him on the head, and treated him shamefully. And he sent another, and they killed him; and many others, and they beat some, and killed some. Having yet one beloved son, he sent him last to them, saying, They will reverence my son. But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours. And seizing him, they killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard. What will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and let the vineyard to others. Have you not read this Scripture, The stone which the builders rejected, has become the head of a corner; this is from the Lord, and it is wonderful in our eyes? And they sought to take him, and feared the multitude, for they knew that he spoke this parable against them. And they left him, and went away.

He that believes in him is not judged; but he that believes not has been judged already; because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,

in whom we have the redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace,

This he said not of himself, but being chief priest that year he prophesied that Jesus was about to die for the nation; and not for the nation only, but to bring together into one [body] all the children of God scattered abroad.

For the love of Christ constrains us, judging this, that if one died for all then were all dead; and he died for all, that those who live should no more live for themselves but for him that died for them and rose again.

as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I give my life for the sheep.

but God commends his love to us, that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us;

I am crucified with Christ; and I no longer live myself, but Christ lives in me; and the present life which I live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

And almost all things, according to the law, are purified with blood, and without the pouring out of blood there is no forgiveness.

Husbands, love your wives as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it, that he might sanctify it, purifying it with the washing of water with the word, that he might present the church to himself glorious, not having a spot or wrinkle or any thing of the kind, but that it should be holy and blameless.

And the great dragon, the old serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, and who deceives all the world, was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast [to the earth] with him.

For I think that the sufferings of the present time are of no account in comparison with the glory to be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the revelation of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to a perishable condition, not willingly, but by him that subjected it, in hoperead more.
that the same creation will be delivered from the servitude of destruction and [brought] into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. For we know that all the creation groans and is in pain till now; and not only it, but we ourselves also who have the first fruit of the Spirit, even ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For we are saved by hope; but a hope that is seen is not a hope; for why does one hope for what he sees? but if we hope for what we see not, we wait for it with patience.

And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and given us the ministry of the reconciliation,

But some time being spent and navigation not being safe, because the fast had already passed by, Paul advised,

knowing that you were not redeemed from your vain mode of life received by tradition from your fathers, with destructible things, silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish, and without a spot;

By this we have known love, because he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

For when we were yet weak, in due time Christ died for the wicked;

For there is one God, and one mediator of God and man, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all, a testimony for its own times,

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who with an eternal spirit offered himself without fault to God, purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

And when you fast, be not like the hypocrites, of a sad countenance; for they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to fast. I tell you truly, they have their reward.

who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all wickedness, and purify for himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
