fear not those who can only kill the body, but cannot hurt the soul: rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

then will they answer, Lord, when did we see thee in hunger, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? to this he will reply, I declare unto you, your not doing this for one of the least of these, is the same thing as not doing it for me. and these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
for he that has not shewed mercy, shall be condemn'd without mercy: while the merciful shall triumph at his trial.
if the virtuous escape with difficulty, what will become of impious transgressors?
reward her according to her dealings, and repay her double, according to her works: give her twice as much in the same cup which she gave you to drink, give her torment and pain in proportion to her pride and luxury; for she said in her heart, "I am enthron'd like a queen, I am no widow, and shall see no sorrow."
