20 Bible Verses about The Holy Spirit, And Preaching

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God,

It is the spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I speak unto you are spirit and life.

that whether they be obedient or no - for it is a froward household - they may know yet that there hath been a Prophet among them.

For the scripture came never by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the holy ghost.

"The spirit of the Lord upon me, because he hath anointed me; To preach the gospel to the poor he hath sent me; And to heal which are broken hearted: To preach deliverance to the captive; And sight to the blind; And freely to set at liberty them that are bruised; And to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." And he began to say unto them, "This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears."

"Behold my child, whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom my soul delighteth: I will put my spirit on him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles.

Behold now therefore, this is my servant whom I will keep to myself: mine elect; In whom my soul shall be pacified. I will give him my spirit, that he may show forth judgment and equity among the Gentiles.

For he whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God. For God giveth not the spirit by measure.

And my words, and my preaching were not with enticing words of man's wisdom: but in showing of the spirit and of power, that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men: but in the power of God.
