But ye foolish princes of Zoan, ye wise counselors of Pharaoh, whose wit is turned to foolishness: How say ye unto Pharaoh, "I am come of wise people;

Unadvised thoughts shall come to naught; but whereas are men that can give counsel, there is steadfastness.

Look: what a fool taketh in hand, he thinketh it well done; but he that is wise, will be counseled.

Among the proud there is ever strife; but among those that do all things with advisement, there is wisdom.

A scornful body loveth not one that rebuketh him; neither will he come among the wise.

O give ear unto good counsel, and be content to be reformed; that thou mayest be wise here after.

Through counsel the things that men devise go forward; and with discretion ought wars to be taken in hand.

For with discretion must wars be taken in hand, and whereas are many that can give counsel, there is the victory.

Where no good counsel is, there the people decay; but whereas are many that can give counsel, there is wealth.

I thank thee, and pray thee, O thou God of my fathers, that thou hast lent me wisdom and strength, and hast showed me the thing that we desired of thee, for thou hast opened the king's matter unto me."

And now I say unto you: refrain yourselves from these men, let them alone: For if the counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: but and if it be of God, ye cannot destroy it, lest haply ye be found to strive against God."

And I give counsel hereto: For this is expedient for you, which began - not to do only, but also to will - a year ago. Now therefore perform the deed, that as there was in you a readiness to will, even so ye may perform the deed, of that which ye have. For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

But that comforter, which is the holy ghost - whom my father will send in my name - he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have told you.

and I will pray the father: and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you ever,

"But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the father, which is the spirit of truth which proceedeth of the father, he shall testify of me.

Howbeit, when he is once come - I mean the spirit of truth - he will lead you into all truth. He shall not speak of himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come.
