And I say to you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account concerning it in the day of judgment;
accounting that God is able to raise even from the dead; whence he did also, as in a figure, receive him back.
And, calling him, he said to him, 'What is this I hear of you? Render the account of your stewardship; for you can be no longer steward.'
Not that I am seeking for the gift; but I seek for the fruit that abounds to your account.
And, after a long time, the lord of those servants comes, and makes a reckoning with them.
And, when he began to reckon, there was brought to him one debtor of ten thousand talents;
Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven was likened to a king who wished to make a reckoning with his servants.
Jesus answered them, "Verily, verily, I say to you, every one who commits sin is a slave of sin.
For we must all be manifested before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to the things which he practiced, whether good or evil.
And, calling to him each one of his lord's debtors, he said to the first, 'How much do you owe my lord?'
regarding the reproach of the Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking away to the recompense.
but for ours also, to whom it will be reckoned, if we believe on Him Who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead;
For who of you, wishing to build a tower, does not, first, sitting down, calculate the expense, whether he has enough for its completion?
And He said also to His disciples, "There was a certain rich man who had a steward, and the same was accused to him as squandering his goods.
avoiding this, that no one should blame us in the matter of this bounty which is ministered by us;
for until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not reckoned, when there is no law:
As it has been written, "For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
By faith we perceive that the ages have been constituted by the word of God, so that what is seen has not arisen out of things that appear.
