Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by Thy name? and by Thy name cast out demons, and by Thy name do many mighty works,'" And then will I confess to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, ye who work iniquity.

And, whosoever does not receive you, nor hear your words, as ye are going forth out of that house or city, shake off the dust, of your feet. Verily I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you.

And I say to you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account concerning it in the day of judgment; for by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned."

"The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it; because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here. "A queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it; because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

Suffer both to grow together until the harvest. And, in the season of harvest, I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them into bundles, with the view of burning them; but gather the wheat into my barn.'"

As, therefore, the tares are gathered up, and are burned with fire, so shall it be in the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of the Kingdom all the stumbling-blocks, and those who do iniquity; and they will cast them into the furnace of fire. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He that has ears let him hear.

So will it be at the end of the age. The angels will go forth, and will separate the wicked from the midst of the righteous, and will cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be the weeping, and the gnashing of teeth.

For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then will He render to each one according to his work.

It behooved you, therefore, to put my money to the bankers; and, at my coming, I would have received my own with interest. "Then will the righteous answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see Thee hungering, and fed Thee? or thirsting, and gave Thee drink? And when did we see Thee a stranger, and took Thee in; or naked, and clothed Thee? And, when did we see Thee sick, or in prison, and came to Thee?' "And, answering, the King will say to them, 'Verily I say to you, inasmuch as ye did it to one of My brethren, even the least, ye did it to Me.' Then will He say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, ye accursed! into the eternal fire which was prepared for the Devil and his angels; for I hungered, and ye did not give Me to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave Me no drink; I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in; naked, and ye did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and ye did not look after Me.' "Then will they also answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see Thee hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to Thee?' "Then will He answer them, saying, 'Verily I say to you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of these least, ye did it not to Me!' "And these shall go away into age-lasting punishment, but the righteous into age-lasting life."

But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, going forth into the streets thereof, say, 'Even the dust from your city, that cleaves to our feet, we wipe off against you; nevertheless, know this, that the Kingdom of God has come nigh.' I say to you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.read more.
"Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you Bethsaida! because, if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.

But nothing has been covered up, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. Wherefore, whatsoever ye said in the darkness shall be heard in the light; and what ye spake in the ear in the inner chambers shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. but I will show you Whom ye should fear; fear Him Who, after killing, has authority to cast into Hell; yea, I say to you, fear Him.

And He said to them, "Strive to enter in through the narrow door; because many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able. There will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust forth without. And they will come from the east and west, and from the north and south, and shall recline at table in the Kingdom of God.

For neither doth the Father judge any one, but all judgment He hath given to the Son;

He who rejects Me, and receives not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.

And I will show wonders in the heaven above, and signs upon the earth beneath??lood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come. And it shall be, that every one who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.'

And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to fully testify that it is He Who hath been ordained by God Judge of the living and dead.

inasmuch as He appointed a day in which He intendeth to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness, by a Man Whom He appointed, having given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead."

And, as he was reasoning about righteousness, continence, and the judgment to come, Felix, becoming terrified, answered, "Go your way for the present; and, when I obtain a suitable opportunity, I will call for you;"

but, after your hardness and impenitent heart, you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God, Who will render to every man according to his works; to those who, by patience in well-doing, are seeking for glory and honor and incorruption, eternal life;read more.

and to you who suffer tribulation, relief with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with the angels of His power, in flaming fire, awarding vengeance to those who know not God, and to those who obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus;

I charge you before God, and Christ Jesus, Who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His Kingdom,

henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will recompense to me in that day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing.

For, if the word spoken through angels became steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a righteous recompense, how shall we escape, having neglected so great salvation; which, indeed, having at first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard;

of the teaching of immersions, and laying on of hands, of a resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

And inasmuch as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this comes judgment;

For, if we sin wilfully after we received the full knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fierceness of fire about to devour the opposers. who shall render an account to Him Who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous enduring punishment unto the day of judgment;

but the present heavens and the earth, by the same word, have been stored up for fire, being kept unto the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, being intensely hot, shall be dissolved, and the earth and the works therein shall be burned up. Seeing, therefore, that all these things are thus to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conduct and godliness, looking for, and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens, being on fire, will be dissolved; and the elements, being intensely hot, shall melt!

And angels who kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, He hath kept in everlasting bonds, under darkness, for the judgment of the great day.

Behold, He cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth shall lament over Him! Even so. Amen.

And the nations were angered, and Thy anger came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to those who fear Thy name, the small and the great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth."

And I saw a great white throne, and Him Who was sitting thereon, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of the things that were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them; and they were judged, every one, according to their works.read more.
And Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire. And, if anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
