So I find it to be a law that when I want to do good, evil is present with me. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of evil among the members of the body. The tongue corrupts our whole person, sets the whole course of our life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

What causes quarrels and fights among you? Is it not your passions that are at war in your members?

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all men, because all men sinned.

For the creation waits with eager expectation for the revealing of the sons of God.
