'Died' in the Bible
from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who died between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it will be charged against this generation!
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
Last of all the woman died also.
Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
This is the bread that came down from heaven; it is not like the manna your fathers ate—and they died. The one who eats this bread will live forever.”
Then the Jews said, “Now we know You have a demon. Abraham died and so did the prophets. You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word, he will never taste death—ever!’
Are You greater than our father Abraham who died? Even the prophets died. Who do You pretend to be?”
So Jesus then told them plainly, “Lazarus has died.
Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believes on me, though he have died, shall live;
Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
Jesus saith, 'Take ye away the stone;' the sister of him who hath died -- Martha -- saith to him, 'Sir, already he stinketh, for he is four days dead;'
The man who had died came out, his hands and feet tied with strips of cloth, and his face wrapped in a handkerchief. Jesus told them, "Untie him, and let him go."
Jesus, therefore, six days before the passover, came to Bethany, where was Lazarus, who had died, whom he raised out of the dead;
"Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and that his tomb is among us to this day.
When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and died. And great fear seized everyone who heard about it.

Otherwise, what will those people do who are being baptized because of those who have died? If the dead are not raised at all, why are they being baptized because of them?
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
For through the law I have died to the law, so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ
I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.

since it was because of the work of Christ that he almost died. He risked his life so that he could make up for your inability to serve me.

Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
and she who is given to luxury, living -- hath died;
This saying is trustworthy:For if we have died with Him,we will also live with Him;
There have been many priests, since each one of them had to stop serving in office when he died.
And so he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the eternal inheritance he has promised, since he died to set them free from the violations committed under the first covenant.
For a will is in force only when somebody has died, since it never takes effect as long as the one who made it is alive.
He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained testimony of being righteous, God bearing testimony to his gifts, and by it, having died, he yet speaks.

by saying, "What happened to the Messiah's promise to return? Ever since our ancestors died, everything continues as it did from the beginning of creation."
and the Ever-living One [living in and beyond all time and space]. I died, but see, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of [absolute control and victory over] death and of Hades (the realm of the dead).
“And to the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Smyrna write:“These are the words of the First and the Last [absolute Deity, the Son of God] who died and came to life [again]:
And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
