You destroy those who tell lies;the Lord abhors a man of bloodshed and treachery.
what is man that You remember him,the son of man that You look after him?
Rise up, Lord! Do not let man prevail;let the nations be judged in Your presence.
With the faithfulYou prove Yourself faithful;with the blameless manYou prove Yourself blameless;
But I am a worm and not a man,scorned by men and despised by people.
How joyful is the manthe Lord does not charge with sinand in whose spirit is no deceit!
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard himand saved him from all his troubles.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.How happy is the man who takes refuge in Him!
Who is the man who delights in life,loving a long life to enjoy what is good?
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains;Your judgments, like the deepest sea.Lord, You preserve man and beast.
Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for Him;do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way,by the man who carries out evil plans.
The little that the righteous man has is betterthan the abundance of many wicked people.
I have seen a wicked, violent manwell-rooted like a flourishing native tree.
Watch the blameless and observe the upright,for the man of peace will have a future.
I am like a man who does not hearand has no arguments in his mouth.
You, indeed, have made my days short in length,and my life span as nothing in Your sight.Yes, every mortal man is only a vapor.Selah
“Certainly, man walks about like a mere shadow.Indeed, they frantically rush around in vain,gathering possessionswithout knowing who will get them.
You discipline a man with punishment for sin,consuming like a moth what is precious to him;every man is only a vapor.Selah
How happy is the manwho has put his trust in the Lordand has not turned to the proudor to those who run after lies!
Vindicate me, God, and defend my causeagainst an ungodly nation;rescue me from the deceitful and unjust man.
But despite his assets, man will not last;he is like the animals that perish.
Do not be afraid when a man gets rich,when the wealth of his house increases.
A man with valuable possessionsbut without understandingis like the animals that perish.
“Here is the manwho would not make God his refuge,but trusted in the abundance of his riches,taking refuge in his destructive behavior.”
But it is you, a man who is my peer,my companion and good friend!

They devise crimes and say,“We have perfected a secret plan.”The inner man and the heart are mysterious.
Let Your hand be with the man at Your right hand,with the son of manYou have made strong for Yourself.
I am counted among those going down to the Pit.I am like a man without strength,
The enemy will not afflict him;no wicked man will oppress him.
What man can live and never see death?Who can save himself from the power of Sheol?Selah
The One who instructs nations,the One who teaches man knowledge—does He not discipline?
Lord, happy is the man You disciplineand teach from Your law
As for man, his days are like grass—he blooms like a flower of the field;
He causes grass to grow for the livestockand provides crops for man to cultivate,producing food from the earth,
Man goes out to his workand to his labor until evening.
Hallelujah!Happy is the man who fears the Lord,taking great delight in His commands.
Good will come to a man who lends generouslyand conducts his business fairly.
The wicked man will see it and be angry;he will gnash his teeth in despair.The desire of the wicked man will come to nothing.
The Lord is for me; I will not be afraid.What can man do to me?
It is better to take refuge in the Lordthan to trust in man.
ב BetHow can a young man keep his way pure?By keeping Your word.
Happy is the man who has filled his quiver with them.Such men will never be put to shamewhen they speak with their enemies at the city gate.
In this very waythe man who fears the Lordwill be blessed.
Do not let a slanderer stay in the land.Let evil relentlessly hunt down a violent man.
Lord, what is man, that You care for him,the son of man, that You think of him?
Man is like a breath;his days are like a passing shadow.
Do not trust in nobles,in man, who cannot save.
He is not impressed by the strength of a horse;He does not value the power of a man.
