'Man's' in the Bible
It was as thick as a man's open hand, and the edge of it was curved like the edge of a cup, like a lily flower; it would take three thousand baths.
And Asa made prayer to the Lord his God and said, Lord, you only are able to give help against the strong to him who has no strength; come to our help, O Lord our God, for our hope is in you, and in your name we have come out against this great army. O Lord, you are our God; let not man's power be greater than yours.
And they spoke of the God of Jerusalem as of the gods of the peoples of the earth, the work of man's hand.
And the drinking was according to the law; none did compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man's pleasure.
His livestock included 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 teams of oxen, 500 female donkeys, and many servants. Indeed, the man's stature greatly exceeded that of many people who lived in the East.
But trouble is man's fate from birth, as the flames go up from the fire.
Do you think that you can disprove my wordsor that a despairing man’s words are mere wind?
So are the paths of all that forget God; and the profane man's hope shall perish,
Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days,
Since man’s days are determinedand the number of his months depends on You,and since You have set limits he cannot pass,
as water wears away stonesand torrents wash away the soil from the land,so You destroy a man’s hope.
This is the wicked man’s lot from God,the inheritance God ordained for him.
“You say, ‘God stores away a man’s iniquity for his sons.’Let God repay him so that he may know it.
“But who will confront him with his actions and rebuke him face to face,And who will repay him for what he has done?
Is it possible for a man to be of profit to God? No, for a man's wisdom is only of profit to himself.
How much less is man, who is only a maggot, or a man's children, who are only worms!"
This is a wicked man’s lot from God,the inheritance the ruthless receive from the Almighty.
If my heart went after another man's wife, or if I was waiting secretly at my neighbour's door;
Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
"If there's a messenger appointed to mediate for Job one out of a thousand to represent the man's integrity on his behalf,
“Let his flesh be restored and become fresher than in youth;Let him return to the days of his youthful strength.
For a man's work will he render to him, and cause every one to find according to his way.
For His eyes watch over a man’s ways,and He observes all his steps.
This poor man's cry came before the Lord, and he gave him salvation from all his troubles.
A man’s steps are established by the Lord,and He takes pleasure in his way.
By the weight of your wrath against man's sin, the glory of his form is wasted away; truly every man is but a breath. (Selah.)
Give us help from trouble; for vain is man's deliverance.
They devise unjust schemes; they disguise a well-conceived plot. Man's inner thoughts cannot be discovered.
The Lord knows man’s thoughts;they are meaningless.
And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
Give us help from trouble; for vain is man's deliverance.
Their idols are silver and gold, work of man's hands,
The idols of the nations are but silver and gold,The work of man’s hands.
Man's breath goes out, he is turned back again to dust; in that day all his purposes come to an end.
For their feet are running after evil, and they are quick to take a man's life.
lest strangers devour your strength, and your labor benefit another man's house.
For a man’s ways are before the Lord’s eyes,and He considers all his paths.
A wicked man’s iniquities entrap him;he is entangled in the ropes of his own sin.
because the price of a whore is a loaf of bread, and an adulterous woman stalks a man's precious life.
So it is with the one who sleeps withanother man’s wife;no one who touches her will go unpunished.
He who takes another man's wife is without all sense: he who does it is the cause of destruction to his soul.
because jealousy incites a strong man's rage, and he will show no mercy when it's time for revenge.
In the twilight, in the evening;In the black and dark night.
The rich man's wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
An evil man's sinful speech ensnares him, but the righteous person escapes from trouble.
A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down,but a good word cheers it up.
The slothful roasteth not what he took in hunting; but man's precious substance is to the diligent.

then man's dust will go back to the earth, returning to what it was, and the spirit will return to the God who gave it.
And the poor man's head is bent, and the great man goes down on his face: for this cause there will be no forgiveness for their sin.
