The Great Confirming Sacrifice

⁶⁵ And Solomon held that same time a high feast and all Israel with him, a mighty congregation, even from the coasts of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and yet seven days, that is, fourteen days. ⁶⁶ And the eighth day he sent the people away. And they blessed the king and went unto their tents joyous and glad in heart for all the goodness that the LORD had showed unto David his servant and to Israel his people.
