Phrygia

They passed through the

Phrygian and Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in

Asia;

And having spent some time there, he left and passed successively through the Galatian region and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.

Pamphylia

Now Paul and his companions put out to sea from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia; but John left them and returned to Jerusalem.

They passed through Pisidia and came into Pamphylia.

But Paul kept insisting that they should not take him along who had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work.

When we had sailed through the sea along the coast of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we landed at Myra in Lycia.

Egypt

Now there was a famine in the land; so Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land.

In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrians will come into Egypt and the Egyptians into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.

Egypt and Judah, and Edom and the sons of Ammon, and Moab and all those inhabiting the desert who clip the hair on their temples; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised of heart.”

When Israel was a youth I loved him,
And out of Egypt I called My son.

He remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called

My Son.”

And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

Libya

Go up, you horses, and

drive madly, you chariots,

That the mighty men may march forward:
Ethiopia and

Put, that handle the shield,

And the

Lydians, that handle and bend the bow.

Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all

Arabia, Libya and the people of the land that is in league will fall with them by the sword.”

But he will gain control over the hidden treasures of gold and silver and over all the precious things of Egypt; and Libyans and Ethiopians will follow at his heels.

Strangers

And he found a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, having recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. He came to them,

But on the night immediately following, the Lord stood at his side and said, “Take courage; for as you have solemnly witnessed to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must witness at Rome also.”

And the brethren, when they heard about us, came from there as far as the Market of Appius and Three Inns to meet us; and when Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage.

to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as

saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

but when he was in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me—

Jews

The statement found approval with the whole congregation; and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and Nicolas, a

proselyte from Antioch.

Now when the meeting of the synagogue had broken up, many of the Jews and of the God-fearing

proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, were urging them to continue in the grace of God.

In each and every province and in each and every city, wherever the king’s commandment and his decree arrived, there was gladness and joy for the Jews, a feast and a

holiday. And many among the peoples of the land became Jews, for the dread of the Jews had fallen on them.

“Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘It will yet be that peoples will come, even the inhabitants of many cities.
