Acts 2:42

A Generous And Growing Church

⁴¹ So those who accepted his teaching were baptized, and about three thousand people joined the disciples on that day alone. ⁴² They devoted themselves to the teaching of the Apostles and to the Common Life of the Church, to the Breaking of the Bread and to the Prayers. ⁴³ A deep impression was made upon every one, and many wonders and signs were done at the hands of the Apostles.

Acts 1:14

They all united in devoting themselves to Prayer, and so did some women, and Mary, the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
