Blessings And Curses

⁵⁸ “If you are not careful to obey all the words of this law, which are written in this scroll, by fearing this glorious and awesome name—Yahweh, your God— ⁵⁹ He will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and terrible and chronic sicknesses. ⁶⁰ He will afflict you again with all the diseases of Egypt, which you dreaded, and they will cling to you.

Deuteronomy 28:46

These curses will be a sign and a wonder against you and your descendants forever.

Deuteronomy 29:20-28

The Lord will not be willing to forgive him. Instead, His anger and jealousy will burn against that person, and every curse written in this scroll will descend on him. The Lord will blot out his name under heaven,

Deuteronomy 31:17-18

My anger will burn against them on that day; I will abandon them and hide My face from them so that they will become easy prey. Many troubles and afflictions will come to them. On that day they will say, ‘Haven’t these troubles come to us because our God is no longer with us?’

Deuteronomy 32:22

For fire has been kindled because of My anger
and burns to the depths of Sheol;
it devours the land and its produce,
and scorches the foundations of the mountains.

Deuteronomy 32:26

“I would have said: I will cut them to pieces
and blot out the memory of them from mankind,

I will cut off Israel from the land I gave them, and I will reject the temple I have sanctified for My name. Israel will become an object of scorn and ridicule among all the peoples.

Daniel 9:12

He has carried out His words that He spoke against us and against our rulers by bringing on us so great a disaster that nothing like what has been done to Jerusalem has ever been done under all of heaven.

For those will be days of tribulation, the kind that hasn’t been from the beginning of the world, which God created, until now and never will be again!
