'Making' in the Bible
And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between Me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all future generations:
Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have brought trouble on me, making me odious to the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites and the Perizzites. We are few in number; if they unite against me and attack me, I and my household will be destroyed.”
“Don’t continue to supply the people with straw for making bricks, as before. They must go and gather straw for themselves.
But require the same quota of bricks from them as they were making before; do not reduce it. For they are slackers—that is why they are crying out, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to our God.’
Then the Israelite foremen, whom Pharaoh’s slave drivers had set over the people, were beaten and asked, “Why haven’t you finished making your prescribed number of bricks yesterday or today, as you did before?”
As for the incense you are making, you must not make any for yourselves using its formula. It is to be regarded by you as sacred to the Lord.
And the Lord responded: “Look, I am making a covenant. I will perform wonders in the presence of all your people that have never been done in all the earth or in any nation. All the people you live among will see the Lord’s work, for what I am doing with you is awe-inspiring.

But if you refrain from making a vow, it will not be counted against you as sin.
You must stand outside while the man you are making the loan to brings the security out to you.
so that you may enter into the covenant of the Lord your God, which He is making with you today, so that you may enter into His oath
I am making this covenant and this oath not only with you,

and making the winds His messengers,flames of fire His servants.
wine that makes man’s heart glad—making his face shine with oil—and bread that sustains man’s heart.
He gives the childless woman a household,making her the joyful mother of children.Hallelujah!
and how he swore an oath to the Lord,making a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:
For the enemy has pursued me,crushing me to the ground,making me live in darknesslike those long dead.
Fools mock at making restitution,but there is goodwill among the upright.
Making a fortune through a lying tongueis a vanishing mist, a pursuit of death.
But beyond these, my son, be warned: there is no end to the making of many books, and much study wearies the body.

They speak mere words,taking false oaths while making covenants.So lawsuits break outlike poisonous weeds in the furrows of a field.
Woe to him who gives his neighbors drink,pouring out your wrathand even making them drunk,in order to look at their nakedness!
