Instructions For Consecrating Aaron And His Sons
1 And this is the thing which thou dost to them, to hallow them, for being priests to Me: Take one bullock, a son of the herd, and two rams, perfect ones,

9 Tie the sashes on Aaron and his sons and fasten headbands on them. The priesthood is to be theirs by a permanent statute. This is the way you will ordain Aaron and(a) his sons.(F)
9 You are to gird Aaron and his sons with sashes and tie headdresses on them. The priesthood is to belong to them by perpetual ordinance, and you are to ordain Aaron and his sons.
10 and hast brought near the bullock before the tent of meeting, and Aaron hath laid -- his sons also -- their hands on the head of the bullock.
10 And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.

18 And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt offering unto the LORD: it is a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
18 You shall offer up in smoke the whole ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering to the Lord: (V)it is a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.

20 You shall slaughter the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear and on the lobes of his sons’ right ears and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet, and sprinkle the rest of the blood around on the altar.

21 and thou hast taken of the blood which is on the altar, and of the anointing oil, and hast sprinkled on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him, and he hath been hallowed, he, and his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.
21 And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
21 Then you shall take some of the blood that is on the altar and some of the (X)anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and on his garments and on his sons and on his sons’ garments with him; so he and his garments shall be consecrated, as well as his sons and his sons’ garments with him.

23 and one round cake of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one thin cake out of the basket of the unleavened things which is before Jehovah.
23 And one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the LORD:
23 and one cake of bread and (Y)one cake of bread mixed with oil and one wafer from the basket of unleavened bread which is set before the Lord;
23 take one loaf of bread, one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer from the basket of unleavened bread that is before the Lord;
23 and one loaf of bread, one cake of bread mixed with oil, and one wafer out of the basket of unleavened bread that is in the LORD's presence.
24 And thou hast set the whole on the hands of Aaron, and on the hands of his sons, and hast waved them -- a wave-offering before Jehovah;
24 And thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them for a wave offering before the LORD.
24 and you shall put (l)all these (m)in the (n)hands of Aaron and (o)in the (p)hands of his sons, and shall wave them as a wave offering before the Lord.

25 and thou hast taken them out of their hand, and hast made perfume on the altar beside the burnt-offering, for sweet fragrance before Jehovah; a fire-offering it is to Jehovah.
25 And thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the LORD: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
25 (Z)You shall take them from their hands, and offer them up in smoke on the altar on the burnt offering for a soothing aroma before the Lord; it is an offering by fire to the Lord.
25 Take them from their hands and burn them on the altar on top of the burnt offering, as a pleasing aroma before the Lord; it is a fire offering to the Lord.
25 Then you are to take them from their hands and send them up in smoke on the altar on top of the burnt offering for a soothing aroma in the LORD's presence. It is an offering by fire to the LORD.
26 And thou hast taken the breast from the ram of the consecration which is for Aaron, and hast waved it -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, and it hath become thy portion;
26 And thou shalt take the breast of the ram of Aaron's consecration, and wave it for a wave offering before the LORD: and it shall be thy part.
26 “Then you shall take (AA)the breast of Aaron’s ram of (q)ordination, and wave it as a wave offering before the Lord; and it shall be your portion.
26 “Take the breast from the ram of Aaron’s ordination and wave it as a presentation offering before the Lord; it is to be your portion.(P)
26 "You are to take the breast of the ram of Aaron's ordination, and present it as a wave offering in the LORD's presence, and it is to be your portion.
27 and thou hast sanctified the breast of the wave-offering, and the leg of the heave-offering, which hath been waved, and which hath been lifted up from the ram of the consecration, of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons;
27 And thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:
27 You shall consecrate the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering which was waved and which was (r)offered from the ram of (s)ordination, from the one which was for Aaron and from the one which was for his sons.
27 Consecrate for Aaron and his sons(Q) the breast of the presentation offering that is waved and the thigh of the contribution that is lifted up from the ram of ordination.
27 You are to consecrate the portion of the ram of ordination that belongs to Aaron and his sons: the breast of the wave offering that was waved and the thigh of the presented offering that was presented.
28 and it hath been for Aaron and for his sons, by a statute age-during from the sons of Israel, for it is a heave-offering; and it is a heave offering from the sons of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace-offerings -- their heave-offering to Jehovah.
28 And it shall be Aaron's and his sons' by a statute for ever from the children of Israel: for it is an heave offering: and it shall be an heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice of their peace offerings, even their heave offering unto the LORD.
28 It shall be for Aaron and his sons as their portion forever from the sons of Israel, for it is a heave offering; and it shall be a heave offering from the sons of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, even their heave offering to the Lord.
28 This will belong to Aaron and his sons as a regular portion from the Israelites, for it is a contribution. It will be the Israelites’ contribution from their fellowship sacrifices, their contribution to the Lord.
28 These offerings from the Israelis are to be a perpetual ordinance for Aaron and his sons. They are presented offerings, and they are to be presented offerings from the Israelis out of their peace offerings. They are presented offerings to the LORD.
29 'And the holy garments which are Aaron's, are for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to consecrate in them their hand;
29 And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.
29 “(AB)The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, (t)that in them they may be anointed and ordained.
29 “The holy garments that belong to Aaron are to belong to his sons after him, so that they can be anointed and ordained(d) in them.(R)
29 "The holy garments of Aaron are to be for his sons after him so that they may be anointed in them and ordained in them.
30 seven days doth the priest in his stead (of his sons) put them on, when he goeth in unto the tent of meeting, to minister in the sanctuary.
30 And that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.
30 For seven days the one of his sons who is priest in his stead shall put them on when he enters the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.
30 Any priest who is one of his sons and who succeeds him and enters the tent of meeting to minister in the sanctuary must wear them for seven days.(S)
30 Aaron's son, who is priest in his place, is to wear them for seven days when he comes into the Tent of Meeting to minister in the Holy Place.
31 'And the ram of the consecration thou dost take, and hast boiled its flesh in the holy place;
31 And thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and seethe his flesh in the holy place.
31 “You are to take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in a holy place.

32 and Aaron hath eaten -- his sons also -- the flesh of the ram, and the bread which is in the basket, at the opening of the tent of meeting;
32 And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

34 and if there be left of the flesh of the consecration or of the bread till the morning, then thou hast burned that which is left with fire; it is not eaten, for it is holy.
34 And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
34 (AF)If any of the flesh of (y)ordination or any of the bread remains until morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire; it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
34 If any of the meat of ordination or any of the bread is left until morning, burn up what is left over. It must not be eaten because it is holy.
34 If any of the flesh of the ordination ram or any of the bread is left until morning, you are to burn what is left with fire. Because it's holy, what remains is not to be eaten.
35 'And thou hast done thus to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded thee; seven days thou dost consecrate their hand;
35 And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.
35 “Thus you shall do to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you; you shall (z)ordain them through (AG)seven days.
35 “This is what you are to do for Aaron and his sons based on all I have commanded you. Take seven days to ordain them.

Instructions For Regular Offerings At The Tabernacle
36 and a bullock, a sin-offering, thou dost prepare daily for the atonements, and thou hast atoned for the altar, in thy making atonement on it, and hast anointed it to sanctify it;
36 And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
36 (AH)Each day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement, and you shall (aa)purify the altar when you make atonement (ab)for it, and (AI)you shall anoint it to consecrate it.
36 Sacrifice a bull as a sin offering each day for atonement. Purify(f) the altar when you make atonement for it, and anoint it in order to consecrate it.(V)
36 and every day you are to offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement. Offer the sin offering on the altar when you make atonement for it and anoint the altar to consecrate it.
37 seven days thou dost make atonement for the altar, and hast sanctified it, and the altar hath been most holy; all that is coming against the altar is holy.
37 Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

The Daily Sacrifices
38 And this is that which thou dost prepare on the altar; two lambs, sons of a year, daily continually;
38 Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
38 “Now (AK)this is what you shall offer on the altar: two one year old lambs each day, continuously.

39 the one lamb thou dost prepare in the morning, and the second lamb thou dost prepare between the evenings;
39 The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:
39 The (AL)one lamb you shall offer in the morning and the (ad)other lamb you shall offer at (ae)twilight;
39 "You are to offer one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight,
40 and a tenth deal of fine flour, mixed with beaten oil, a fourth part of a hin, and a libation, a fourth part of a hin, of wine, is for the one lamb.
40 And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.
40 and there shall be one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering with one lamb.
40 With the first lamb offer two quarts(g) of fine flour mixed with one quart(h) of oil from crushed olives, and a drink offering of one quart(i) of wine.
40 and there is to be a tenth measure of choice flour mixed with one fourth of a hin of oil extracted by hand, and one fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering for one lamb.
41 And the second lamb thou dost prepare between the evenings; according to the present of the morning, and according to its libation, thou dost prepare for it, for sweet fragrance, a fire-offering, to Jehovah: --
41 And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
41 The (af)other lamb you shall offer at (ag)twilight, and shall offer with it (ah)the same grain offering and (ai)the same drink offering as in the morning, for a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.
41 You are to offer the second lamb at twilight. Offer a grain offering and a drink offering with it, like the one in the morning, as a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the Lord.
41 You are to offer the other lamb at twilight with the same grain offering and drink offering as in the morning. You are to offer it as a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the LORD.
42 a continual burnt-offering for your generations, at the opening of the tent of meeting, before Jehovah, whither I am met with you, to speak unto thee there,
