Exodus 30:6

The Altar Of Incense

⁵ You shall make the poles of acacia wood overlaid with gold. ⁶ You shall put the altar of incense [in the Holy Place] in front and outside of the veil that screens the ark of the Testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the Testimony, where I will meet with you. ⁷ Aaron shall burn sweet and fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims and tends the lamps.

Exodus 25:21-22

You shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony which I will give you.
