1 Thou therefore. Son of man, Prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, - and thou shalt say, Ye mountains of Israel Hear ye the word of Yahweh.
1 “And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say, ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord.
1 Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:
1 “Son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say: Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord.(A)
1 "Now as for you, Son of Man, prophesy to Israel's mountains and tell them, "Listen to this message from the LORD, you mountains of Israel:
2 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, Because the enemy hath said concerning you Aha! Even the high places of age-past times, for a possession have become ours
2 Thus says the Lord (a)God, “Because the enemy has spoken against you, ‘Aha!’ and, ‘The everlasting (b)(A)heights have become our possession,’
2 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:
2 This is what the Lord God says: Because the enemy has said about you, ‘Good!(B) The ancient heights(C) have become our possession,’
2 "This is what the Lord GOD says: "The enemy has been saying about you, "Good! The ancient heights are back in our possession!"'"'
3 Therefore, prophesy, and thou shalt say, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh-Because even because they have desolated and panted for you on every side That ye should become a possession to the rest of the nations, And ye have come up into the talk of the tongue and the slander of the people
3 therefore prophesy and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “(c)For good reason they have made you (B)desolate and crushed you from every side, that you would become a possession of the rest of the nations and you have been taken up in the (d)(C)talk and the whispering of the people.”’”
3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
3 therefore, prophesy and say: This is what the Lord God says: Because they have made you desolate and have trampled you from every side, so that you became a possession for the rest of the nations and an object of people’s gossip and slander,(D)
3 "Therefore this is what you are to prophesy: "Here's what the Lord GOD says, "You've been turned into a desolate wasteland and crushed by everyone who surrounds you for a very, very good reason. You've become the property of all the other nations and you've become the object of gossip and whispering campaigns of the nations."'"
4 Therefore ye mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh, - Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, To the mountains and to the hills, to the channels and to the valleys, and to the desolate waste places and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and a derision, to the rest of the nations which are on every side:
4 Therefore, O (D)mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God. Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the forsaken cities which have become a (E)prey and a derision to the rest of the nations which are round about,
4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;
4 therefore, mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God. This is what the Lord God says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and abandoned cities, which have become plunder(E) and a mockery to the rest of the nations all around.
4 "Therefore listen to what the Lord GOD has to say, you mountains of Israel: "This is what the Lord GOD says to the mountains, to the hills, to the waterways, to the valleys, to the desolate wastelands, and to the abandoned cities that have become an object of derision to the mountains that surround you:
5 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, Surely in the fire of my jealousy, have I spoken against the rest of the nation and against Edom all of it, - - Who have given my land to themselves for a possession, In the rejoicing of all the heart In contempt of soul, To make of its produce a prey.
5 therefore thus says the Lord God, “Surely in the fire of My (F)jealousy I have spoken against the (G)rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who (e)appropriated My land for themselves as a possession with wholehearted (H)joy and with scorn of soul, to drive it out for a prey.”
5 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.
5 “This is what the Lord God says: Certainly in My burning zeal I speak against the rest of the nations and all of Edom,(F) who took(a) My land as their own possession with wholehearted rejoicing and utter contempt(G) so that its pastureland became(b) plunder.
5 ""Because this is what the Lord GOD says: "Motivated by my burning zealousness, I have spoken against the rest of the surrounding nations, including Edom, who confiscated my land, taking possession of it with joyful enthusiasm and with animal-like malice, in order to plunder Israel's pastures.'
6 Therefore prophesy, concerning the so of Israel, - and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the channels and to the valleys Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Behold me! in my jealousy and in mine indignation, have I spoken, Because the insult of the nations, ye have borne;
6 Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the ravines and to the valleys, “Thus says the Lord God, ‘Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and in My wrath because you have (I)endured the insults of the nations.’
6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:
6 Therefore, prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: This is what the Lord God says: Look, I speak in My burning zeal(H) because you have endured the insults of the nations.
6 "Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and speak to its mountains, hills, ravines, and valleys. Tell them, "This is what the Lord GOD says: "Pay attention! In my zealous anger I'm speaking because you've had to endure the mockery of the world's nations."'"
7 Therefore Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, I myself have lifted my hand,- Surely the nations which are yours round about, they their own shame, shall bear:
7 Therefore thus says the Lord God, ‘I have (f)sworn that surely the nations which are around you will themselves endure their insults.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.
7 Therefore this is what the Lord God says: I swear(c) that the nations all around you will endure their own insults.(I)
7 "Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: "I hereby raise my hand to swear this oath: the nations that surround you will have their own mockery to endure!
8 But ye O mountains of Israel Your boughs, shall ye shoot forth, And your fruit, shall ye bear For my people Israel, For they have drawn near to enter.
8 But you, O mountains of Israel, you will (J)put forth your branches and bear your fruit for My people Israel; for they will soon come.
8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.
8 “You, mountains of Israel, will produce your branches(J) and bear your fruit for My people Israel, since their arrival is near.
8 But you mountains of Israel are going to sprout branches and bear fruit for my people Israel, because they'll be coming soon.'"
10 And I will multiply, upon you - men, All the house of Israel All of it, Then shall the cities be inhabited, And the waste places, shall be but,
10 I will multiply men on you, (M)all the house of Israel, all of it; and the (N)cities will be inhabited and the waste places will be rebuilt.
10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:
10 I will fill you with people, with the whole house of Israel in its entirety.(L) The cities will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.
10 I'm going to make the entire house of Israel grow every single member and their cities will be inhabited with all the ruins rebuilt.
11 And I will multiply upon you - man and beast, And hey shall multiply and be fruitful, - And I will cause you to be inhabited as in your former estates. And will do you more good than at your beginnings, So shall ye know that am Yahweh;
11 I will multiply on you man and beast; and they will increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited as you were (O)formerly and will (g)treat you (P)better than at the first. Thus you will know that I am the Lord.
11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
11 I will fill you with people and animals,(M) and they will increase and be fruitful. I will make you inhabited as you once were and make you better off than you were before. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.(N)
11 I'll make both the population and the livestock increase throughout your territories. They'll increase and be fruitful. I'll make your territories to be settled like you were in the past, and you will be treated better than you ever were before. At that time you will know that I am the LORD.
12 And I will bring upon you - men even my people Israel That they may possess thee, So shalt thou be theirs, as an inheritance, -And thou shalt no more again make them childless.
12 Yes, I will cause (Q)men—My people Israel—to walk on you and possess you, so that you will become their (R)inheritance and never again (S)bereave them of children.’
12 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.
12 I will cause people, My people Israel, to walk on you; they will possess you,(O) and you will be their inheritance. You will no longer deprive them of their children.
12 "I'll lead my people, my nation of Israel, across you mountains, and they will take possession of you again, and you'll be their inheritance once more. Never again will you leave them robbed of children.
13 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, Because they are saying to you. A devourer of men, thou art, And one that didst make childless thy nations, hast thou been
13 “Thus says the Lord God, ‘Because they say to you, “You are a (T)devourer of men and have bereaved your (h)nation of children,”
13 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;
13 “This is what the Lord God says: Because people are saying to you, ‘You devour men and deprive your nation of children,’(P)
13 "This is what the Lord GOD says: "Because some have been saying to you, "You mountains have been devouring human beings and leaving people childless,"
14 Therefore, men, shalt thou not devour any more,- And thy nations, shalt thou make childless no more, Declareth My Lord Yahweh;
14 therefore you will no longer devour men and no longer bereave your nation of children,’ declares the Lord God.
14 Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.
14 therefore, you will no longer devour men and deprive your nation of children.”(d) This is the declaration of the Lord God.
14 therefore you will no longer devour human beings or leave their nation childless,' declares the Lord GOD.
15 And I will not suffer to he heard against thee any more, the insult of the nations, And the reproach of the peoples, shalt thou not bear any more,- And thy nations, shalt thou not cause to stumble any more, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
15 “I will not let you hear (U)insults from the nations anymore, nor will you bear (V)disgrace from the peoples any longer, nor will you cause your nation to (W)stumble any longer,” declares the Lord God.’”
15 Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.
15 “I will no longer allow the insults of the nations to be heard against you, and you will not have to endure the reproach of the peoples anymore;(Q) you will no longer cause your nation to stumble.”(e) This is the declaration of the Lord God.
15 "I won't let you hear other people mock you, and no nation will ever make you childless again,' declares the Lord GOD."
16 Son of man The house of Israel were dwelling upon their own so, But they defiled it by their way, and by their doings. Like the defilement of her that is removed, became their way before me.
16 Then the word of the Lord came to me saying,
16 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
16 The word of the Lord came to me:
16 This message came to me from the LORD:
17 So I poured out mine indignation upon them, Because of the blood which they had shed upon the land,- Yea with their manufactured gods, had they defiled it.
17 “Son of man, when the house of Israel was living in their own land, they (X)defiled it by their ways and their deeds; their way before Me was like (Y)the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
17 “Son of man, while the house of Israel lived in their land, they defiled it with their conduct and actions.(R) Their behavior before Me was like menstrual impurity.(S)
17 "Son of Man, when the house of Israel was living on their own land, they defiled it with their lifestyles and behavior; they were as disqualified to be with me as a menstruating woman is to you.
18 So I dispersed them among the nations, And they were scattered throughout the lands, - According to their way and according to their doings, I judged them.
18 Therefore I (Z)poured out My wrath on them for the blood which they had shed on the land, because they had defiled it with their idols.
18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:
18 So I poured out My wrath(T) on them because of the blood they had shed on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.
18 So I poured out my anger on them because of all the bloodshed throughout the land and because they had defiled it with their idolatry.
19 But when they entered among the nations where they did enter, then profaned they my holy Name, - in that it was said of them The people of Yahweh, these! Yet from his land, have they come forth!
19 Also I (AA)scattered them among the nations and they were dispersed throughout the lands. (AB)According to their ways and their deeds I judged them.
19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
19 I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered among the countries.(U) I judged them according to their conduct and actions.(V)
19 Then I scattered them among the nations, dispersing them to other lands, just as their lifestyles and behavior deserved. That's how I judged them.
20 So then I had tender regard for my holy Name,- Which the house of Israel had profaned, among the nations, where they had entered.
20 When they came to the nations where they went, they (AC)profaned My holy name, because it was said of them, ‘These are the (AD)people of the Lord; yet they have come out of His land.’
20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.
20 When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned My holy name,(W) because it was said about them, ‘These are the people of Yahweh, yet they had to leave His land in exile.’
20 Nevertheless, when they arrived in those nations, they continued to profane my holy name. It was said about them, "These are the LORD's people, even though they've left his land.'
21 Therefore say thou to the house of Israel Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Not for your sakes, am r working. O house of Israel, But for my holy Name which ye have profaned, among the nations where ye have entered;
21 But I had (i)concern for My (AE)holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.
21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.
21 Then I had concern for My holy name,(X) which the house of Israel profaned among the nations where they went.
21 I've been concerned about my holy reputation, which the house of Israel has been defiling throughout all of the nations where they've gone."
22 Therefore will I hallow my great Name, that hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in their midst,-So shall the nations know that I am Yahweh Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, When I have hallowed myself in you, before their eyes.
22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “It is (AF)not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for My holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.
22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
22 “Therefore, say to the house of Israel: This is what the Lord God says: It is not for your sake that I will act,(Y) house of Israel, but for My holy name,(Z) which you profaned among the nations where you went.
22 "Therefore tell the house of Israel, "This is what the Lord GOD says: "I'm not about to act for your sake, you house of Israel, but for the sake of my holy reputation, which you have been defiling throughout all of the nations where you've gone.
23 Therefore will I take you from among the nations, And gather you out of all the lands,- And will bring you upon your own soil;
23 I will (AG)vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst. Then the (AH)nations will know that I am the Lord,” declares the Lord God, “when I prove Myself holy among you in their sight.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
23 I will honor the holiness of My great name, which has been profaned among the nations—the name you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am Yahweh”—the declaration of the Lord God—“when I demonstrate My holiness through you in their sight.(AA)
23 I'm going to affirm my great reputation that has been defiled among the nations (that is, that you have defiled in their midst), and those people will learn that I am the LORD," declares the Lord GOD, "when I affirm my holiness in front of their very eyes.
24 And I will throw upon you clean water and ye shall he clean, - From all your uncleannesses and from all your manufactured gods, will I cleanse you;
24 For I will (AI)take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land.
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
24 “For I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.(AB)
24 I'm going to remove you from the nations, gather you from all of the territories, and bring you all back to your own land.
25 And I will give you a new heart, And a new spirit, will I put within you,-And I will take away the heart of stone, of your flesh, And will give you a heart of flesh;
25 Then I will (AJ)sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your (AK)filthiness and from all your (AL)idols.
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
25 I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean.(AC) I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.(AD)
25 I'll sprinkle pure water on you all, and you'll be cleansed from your impurity and from all of your idols."
26 And my spirit, will I put within you, And will cause That in my statutes, ye shall walk, And my regulations, ye shall observe, and do;
26 Moreover, I will give you a (AM)new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the (AN)heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you;(AE) I will remove your heart of stone(f) and give you a heart of flesh.(AF)

27 And ye shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers,- And ye shall become my people, And I will become your God;
27 I will (AO)put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.

28 And I will save you out of all your uncleannesses, - And will call for the corn and will increase it, And wt not lay upon you famine;
28 You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be (AP)My people, and I will be your God.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
28 Then you will live in the land that I gave your fathers;(AI) you will be My people, and I will be your God.(AJ)
28 You'll live in the land that I gave to your ancestors, you'll be my people, and I will be your God.
29 And I will multiply The fruit of the tree, and The increase of the field, - To the end that ye may not receive any more the reproach of famine among the nations.
29 Moreover, I will save you from all your uncleanness; and I will call for the grain and multiply it, and I (AQ)will not (j)bring a famine on you.
29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
29 I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will summon the grain and make it plentiful, and will not bring famine on you.(AK)
29 In addition, I'll deliver you from everything that makes you unclean. I'll call out to the grain you plant, ordering it to produce abundant yields, and I will never bring famine in your direction.
30 Then shall ye call to mind Your ways that were wicked, and Your doings that were not good,- And shall become loathsome in your own sight. For your iniquities and For your abominations.
30 I will (AR)multiply the fruit of the tree and the produce of the field, so that you will not receive again the disgrace of famine among the nations.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
30 I will also make the fruit of the trees and the produce of the field plentiful, so that you will no longer experience reproach among the nations on account of famine.
30 I'll increase the yields of your fruit trees and crops so that you'll never again experience the disgrace of famine that occurs in other nations.
31 Not for your sakes, am I working, Declareth My Lord Yahweh be it known to you, - Turn ye pale and then blush for your ways. O house of Israel.
31 Then you will (AS)remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and your abominations.
31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
31 “Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good,(AL) and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and detestable practices.(AM)
31 Then you'll remember your lifestyles and practices that were not good. You'll hate yourselves as you look at your own iniquities and loathsome practices.
32 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, In the day when I cleanse you, from all your iniquities, Then will I cause the cities to be inhabited, And the waste places shall be but;
32 I am not doing this (AT)for your sake,” declares the Lord God, “let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel!”
32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
32 It is not for your sake that I will act”(AN)—the declaration of the Lord God—“let this be known to you. Be ashamed and humiliated because of your ways, house of Israel!
32 I won't be doing any of this for your sake," declares the Lord GOD, "so keep that in mind. Be ashamed and frustrated because of your behavior, you house of Israel!"'"
33 And the land that was made desolate shall be tilled, - Whereas it was a desolation, before the eyes of every passer-by;
33 ‘Thus says the Lord God, “On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the (AU)cities to be inhabited, and the (AV)waste places will be rebuilt.
33 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
33 “This is what the Lord God says: On the day I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the ruins will be rebuilt.(AO)
33 "This is what the Lord GOD says: "At the same time that I cleanse you from all of your guilt, I'll make your cities become inhabited again and the desolate wastelands will be rebuilt.
34 And they shall say, This land that was made desolate hath become like the garden of Eden,- And the cities that were waste and deserted and thrown down, now fenced, are inhabited;
34 The desolate land will be cultivated instead of being a desolation in the sight of everyone who passes by.
34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
34 The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of everyone who passes by.
34 The desolate fields will be cultivated, replacing the former wasteland that everyone who passed by in times past had noticed.
35 So shall the nations that may be left remaining round about you know that I Yahweh - Have but that which wan thrown down, and Have planted that which was made desolate, - I, Yahweh, have spoken, and performed.
35 They will say, ‘This desolate land has become like the (AW)garden of Eden; and the waste, desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’
35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
35 Then they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden.(AP) The cities that were once ruined, desolate, and destroyed are now fortified and inhabited.’
35 They will say, "This wasteland has become like the garden of Eden, and what used to be desolate ruins are now fortified and inhabited."
36 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, Even yet - for this, will I be prevailed upon by the house of Israel to work for them, - I will multiply them-Like a flock - with men:Like a flock of holy offerings.
36 Then the nations that are left round about you will know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted that which was desolate; I, the Lord, have spoken and (AX)will do it.”
36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
36 Then the nations that remain around you will know that I, Yahweh, have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I, Yahweh, have spoken and I will do it.(AQ)
36 Then the surviving people that live around you will learn that I, the LORD, have rebuilt these ruins and have cultivated these pastures that used to be desolate wastelands. I, the LORD, have spoken this, and I'm going to bring it about!'
37 Like the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts So shall the waste cities be fled with flocks of men,- And they shall know that I, am Yahweh.
37 ‘Thus says the Lord God, “This also I will let the house of Israel ask Me to do for them: I will increase their men like a flock.
37 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
37 “This is what the Lord God says: I will respond to the house of Israel and do this for them:(AR) I will multiply them in number like a flock.(g)
37 "This is what the Lord GOD has to say: "I'm going to allow the house of Israel to ask anything they want from me, including this: I'm going to increase their population as a shepherd increases his flock.
