God Tests Abraham

11 Jehovah's angel shouted from heaven: Abraham! Abraham! Here I am! he answered. 12 He said, “Do not stretch out your hand against the lad, and do nothing to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” 13 Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns in the bushes. So he took the ram and sacrificed it in place of his son.
