Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
For both He who
sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,
the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh,
How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.
But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately
blood and water came out.

Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

This is the One who came
by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
Then Moses spoke to the sons of Israel, and they brought the one who had cursed outside the camp and stoned him with stones. Thus the sons of Israel did, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
So all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him
to death with stones, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Then Joshua and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the mantle, the bar of gold, his sons, his daughters, his
oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent and all that belonged to him; and they brought them up to the valley of Achor.
After they had mocked Him, they took the purple robe off Him and put His own garments on Him. And they *led Him out to crucify Him.
They took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha.
When they had
driven him out of the city, they began stoning him; and the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul.
the hide of the bull and all its flesh with its head and its legs and its entrails and its refuse,
But the bull and its hide and its flesh and its refuse he burned in the fire outside the camp, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
The flesh and the skin, however, he burned with fire outside the camp.
