Jesus Became One Of Us To Help Us

¹³ and again, 'I will put my trust in him,' and again, 'Here am I and the children God has given me.' ¹⁴ Since the children then share blood and flesh, he himself participated in their nature, so that by dying he might crush him who wields the power of death (that is to say, the devil) ¹⁵ and release from thraldom those who lay under a life-long fear of death.
