God Will Have Compassion

⁷ And my people are bent to turning away from me: and they will call together to the Most High; he will not exalt them. ⁸ How shall I give thee up, O Ephraim? Shall I deliver thee over, O Israel? How shall I give thee as the earth? Shall I set thee as roes? My heart was turned upon me; my grievings were kindled together. ⁹ I will not do the burning of mine anger, I will not turn back to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not a man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not come into the city.
