Oracle Of Judgment On Damascus

² The cities of Aroer are deserted; they will be for flocks, which will lie down, and none will make them afraid. ³ “The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim,
And sovereignty from Damascus
And the remnant of Aram;
They will be like the glory of the sons of Israel,”
Declares the Lord of hosts.
⁴ And in that day the glory of Jacob will be brought low, and the fat of his flesh will grow lean.

Isaiah 7:16

For before the boy knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land whose two kings you dread will be deserted.

Isaiah 8:4
