10 For his watchmen are all blind, they have altogether no understanding. They are all dumb dogs, no being able to bark; they are sleepery, sluggish, and lie snorting.
10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
10 His (X)watchmen are (Y)blind,All of them know nothing.All of them are mute dogs unable to bark,(d)Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber;
10 Israel’s(a) watchmen are blind, all of them,they know nothing;all of them are mute dogs,they cannot bark;they dream, lie down,and love to sleep.
10 His watchmen are blind; they are all without knowledge. They are all dumb dogs they cannot bark. They keep on dreaming and lying around, and they're lovers of sleep!
11 They are shameless dogs, that be never satisfied. The shepherds also in like manner have no understanding, but every man turneth his own way, everyone after his own covetousness, with all his power.
11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
11 And the dogs are (e)(Z)greedy, they (f)are not satisfied.And they are shepherds who have (AA)no understanding;They have all (AB)turned to their own way,Each one to his unjust gain, to the last one.
11 These dogs have fierce appetites;they never have enough.And they are shepherdswho have no discernment;all of them turn to their own way,every last one for his own gain.(K)
11 Meanwhile, the dogs have a mighty appetite they can never get enough. And as for them, they are the shepherds who lack understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, each and every one.
12 "Come," say they, "I will fetch wine, so shall we fill ourselves, that we may be drunken. And do tomorrow, like as today; yea, and much more."
12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
12 “Come,” they say, “let (g)us get (AC)wine, and let us drink heavily of strong drink;And (AD)tomorrow will be like today, only more so.”
12 “Come, let me get some wine,let’s guzzle some beer;and tomorrow will be like today,only far better!”(L) >
12 ""Come!' they say, "let's have some wine, and let's fill ourselves with strong drink! Then, tomorrow will be like today, or even much better!'"
