A Message Concerning Babylon

47 Therefore behold, the days will come when I will execute judgment and punishment upon the idols of Babylon; her whole land will be confounded and put to shame, and all her slain will fall in the midst of her. 48 Then heaven and earth and all that is in them shall sing for joy over Babylon, for the [Median] destroyers shall come against her from the north, says the Lord. 49 As Babylon caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all [her] land.
