An Invasion From The North

¹² Their houses will be turned over to others their fields and wives together when I stretch out my hand against those who live in the land," declares the LORD. ¹³ "Indeed, from the least important to the most important, they're all greedy for dishonest gain. From prophet to priest, they all act deceitfully. ¹⁴ They treated my people's wound superficially, telling them, "Peace, peace,' but there is no peace.

Jeremiah 8:10

Therefore, I'll give their wives to others, and their fields to new owners. Indeed, from the least important to the most important, they're all greedy for dishonest gain. From prophet to priest, they all act deceitfully.

you who despise good and love evil, who tear off the skin of my people, along with the flesh from their bones.

"This is what the LORD says about the prophets who are causing my people to go astray, who are calling out "Peace' when they're being fed, but who declare war against those who won't feed them:
