Jeremiah's Proclamation At The Gate Of The House Of Yahweh

⁸ You are trusting in deceptive words that are of no value to you. ⁹ Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery and swear falsely, and offer sacrifices to Baal and walk after other gods that you have not known, ¹⁰ Then come and stand before me in this house. It is called by my name. You say, 'We are safe to do all these abominations.'
