                                    2 "How long wilt thou talk of such things? How long shall thy mouth speak so proud words?                                

                                    2 “How long will you say these things,And the (A)words of your mouth be a mighty wind?                                

                                    2 How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?                                

                                    2 How long will you go on saying these things?Your words(A) are a blast of wind.(B)                                

                                    2 "How long will you keep talking like this? How long will you keep talking like a wind storm?

                                    3 Doth God pervert the thing that is lawful? Or, doth the Almighty destroy the thing that is right?

                                    4 When thy sons sinned against him, did not he punish them for their wickedness?

                                    6 If thou wouldest live a pure and godly life; should he not wake up unto thee immediately, and give thee the beauty of righteousness again?                                

                                    6 If you are pure and upright,Surely now (E)He would rouse Himself for youAnd restore your righteous (e)(F)estate.                                

                                    6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.                                

                                    6 if you are pure and upright,then He will move even now on your behalfand restore the home where your righteousness dwells.(G)                                

                                    6 if you are clean and upright, surely then, he'll act on your behalf and restore your rightful place.

                                    8 "Enquire, I pray thee, of them that have been before thee; and search diligently among thy forefathers.

                                    8 For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

God Does Not Punish The Innocent PersonTools

                                    11 May a rush be green without moisture, or may the grass grow without water?                                

                                    11 “Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh?Can the rushes grow without water?                                

                                    11 Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?                                

                                    11 Does papyrus grow where there is no marsh?Do reeds flourish without water?                                

                                    11 "Can papyrus grow where there's no marsh? Can reeds flourish without water?

                                    12 No: but before it be shot forth, and before it be gathered, it withereth; before any other herb.                                

                                    12 “While it is still green and not cut down,Yet it withers before any other (f)plant.

                                    16 "Oftentimes, a thing doth flourish, and men think that it may abide the sunshine. It shooteth forth the branches in its garden,

                                    16 He is a well-watered plant in the sunshine;his shoots spread out over his garden.

                                    19 Lo, thus is it with him that rejoiceth in his own doings: and as for others, they grow out of the earth.

                                    20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:                                

                                    20 Look, God does not reject a person of integrity,and He will not support evildoers.(N)                                

                                    20 Surely God won't reject those who are blameless or hold hands with those who practice evil.

                                    21 Thy mouth shall be full with laughing, and thy lips with gladness.

                                    21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.                                

                                    21 He will yet fill your mouth with laughterand your lips with a shout of joy.(O)                                

                                    21 He will soon fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips will shout with joy.

                                    22 They that hate thee, shall be confounded, and the dwellings of the ungodly shall come to naught."                                

                                    22 “Those who hate you will be (V)clothed with shame,And the (W)tent of the wicked will be no longer.”                                

                                    22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.                                

                                    22 Your enemies will be clothed with shame;(P)the tent(Q) of the wicked will exist no longer.                                

                                    22 Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will no longer exist.
