1 Now six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany where Lazarus lived, whom He had raised from the dead.

16 His disciples at the time did not understand this, but after Jesus was glorified, they remembered that this had been written about Him and that they had fulfilled it in His case.

25 Whoever loves his lower life will lose the higher, but whoever hates his lower life in this world preserves the higher for eternal life.

29 The crowd of bystanders on hearing it said that it was thunder; others, however, said, "An angel has spoken to Him!"
29 So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, “(AQ)An angel has spoken to Him.”
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
29 The crowd standing there heard it and said it was thunder. Others said that an angel had spoken to Him.
29 Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again!" The crowd standing there heard this and said that it was thunder. Others were saying, "An angel has spoken to him."
34 The crowd answered Him, "We have learned from the law that the Christ is to remain here forever, and so how can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?"

34 Then the crowd replied to Him, “We have heard from the scripture that the Messiah will remain forever.(AV) So how can You say, ‘The Son of Man(AW) must be lifted up’?(j) Who is this Son of Man?”
34 Then the crowd answered him, "We have learned from the Law that the Messiah remains forever. So how can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?"
35 Jesus said to them, "Only a little while longer you will have the light. Keep on living by it while you have the light, so that darkness may not overtake you, for whoever walks about in the dark does not know where he is going.
35 So Jesus said to them, “(BC)For a little while longer (BD)the Light is among you. (BE)Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who (BF)walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.
35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
35 Jesus answered, “The light will be with you only a little longer.(AX) Walk while you have the light(AY) so that darkness doesn’t overtake you.(AZ) The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going.(BA)
35 Jesus replied to the crowd, "The light is among you only for a short time. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. The person who walks in the darkness is in the darkness and does not know where he is going.
36 While you have the light believe in the light, that you may become sons of light." On saying this Jesus went away and hid Himself.
