Leviticus 10:1

The Deaths Of Nadab And Abihu

¹ Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took their respective firepans, and after putting fire in them, placed incense on it and offered strange fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them. ² A fire flashed from Jehovah and burned them. They died in the presence of Jehovah.

Leviticus 16:12

He will take an incense burner full of burning coals from the altar in Jehovah's presence, and two handfuls of finely ground, sweet-smelling incense. He will bring them up to the canopy.

Numbers 26:61

Nadab and Abihu died because they offered unauthorized fire in Jehovah's presence.

Exodus 24:1

Jehovah said to Moses: You and Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of Israel's elders come up the mountain to me and worship at a distance.

Leviticus 9:24

Leviticus 22:9

All priests must observe the regulations that I have given. Otherwise, they will become guilty and die, because they have disobeyed the sacred regulations. I am Jehovah and I make them holy.

Jeremiah 7:31

Luke 1:9-11

The custom was to draw lots to see who served in the temple. It was his turn to enter into the temple of God and burn incense.

Hebrews 9:4

It had a golden incense burner. The Ark of the Covenant was completely covered with gold. It contained the golden pot that had the manna, and the rod of Aaron that had sprouted, and the tables of the covenant.

Revelation 8:3-5

Another angel, with a golden incense vessel, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense so he could offer it with the prayers of all the holy ones upon the golden altar before the throne.
