The Seventy-Two Appointed And Sent Out

¹ After this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them before Him, by twos, to go to every town or place which He Himself intended to visit. ² And He addressed them thus: "The harvest is abundant, but the reapers are few: therefore entreat the Owner of the harvest to send out more reapers into His fields. And now go. ³ Remember that I am sending you out as lambs into the midst of wolves.
