⁴⁴ For each tree is known from its own fruit. For they do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they harvest grapes from a bramble bush. ⁴⁵ The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth the good, and the bad man out of the bad treasure of his heart brings forth the bad, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. ⁴⁶ And why do ye call me, Lord, Lord, and not do the things that I say?
