Rejected At Nazareth

² And having become Sabbath, he began to teach in the synagogue. And many who heard him were astonished, saying, How are these things in this man? and, What is the wisdom that was given to him, and such mighty works happen by his han ³ Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judah and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended by him. ⁴ But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor, except in his fatherland, and among his kin, and in his house.
