A Leper Cleansed

11 When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.

11 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

11 When He came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.

11 When Jesus came down from the hillside, large crowds followed him.

11 When Jesus came down from the mountain, great throngs followed Him.

22 And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."

22 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

22 Right away a man with a serious skin disease came up and knelt before Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."

22 Suddenly, a leper came up to him, fell down before him, and said, "Sir, if you want to, you can make me clean."

22 And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me by curing me.

33 Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

33 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

33 Reaching out His hand He touched him, saying, "I am willing; be made clean." Immediately his disease was healed.

33 So Jesus reached out his hand, touched him, and said, "I do want to. Be clean!" And instantly his leprosy was made clean.

33 And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed.

44 And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

44 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

44 Then Jesus told him, "See that you don't tell anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses prescribed, as a testimony to them."

44 Then Jesus told him, "See to it that you don't speak to anyone. Instead, go and show yourself to the priest, and then offer the sacrifice that Moses commanded as proof to the authorities."

44 And Jesus said to him, See that you tell nothing about this to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, for a testimony [to your healing] and as an evidence to the people.

A Centurion's Slave Healed

55 And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him,

55 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

55 When He entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him,

55 When Jesus returned to Capernaum, a centurion came up to him and begged him repeatedly,

55 As Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came up to Him, begging Him,

66 and saying, "Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented."

66 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

66 "Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible agony!"

66 "Sir, my servant is lying at home paralyzed and in terrible pain."

66 And saying, Lord, my servant boy is lying at the house paralyzed and distressed with intense pains.

77 Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."

77 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

77 "I will come and heal him," He told him.

77 Jesus told him, "I will come and heal him."

77 And Jesus said to him, I will come and restore him.

88 But the centurion said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

88 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

88 "Lord," the centurion replied, "I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But only say the word, and my servant will be cured.

88 The centurion replied, "Sir, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed,

88 But the centurion replied to Him, Lord, I am not worthy or fit to have You come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant boy will be cured.

99 "For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."

99 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

99 For I too am a man under authority, having soldiers under my command. I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes; and to another, 'Come!' and he comes; and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."

99 because I, too, am a man under authority and I have soldiers under me. I say to one of them "Go' and he goes, to another "Come' and he comes, and to my servant "Do this' and he does it."

99 For I also am a man subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it.

1010 Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, "Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.

1010 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

1010 Hearing this, Jesus was amazed and said to those following Him, "I assure you: I have not found anyone in Israel with so great a faith!

1010 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and told those who were following him, "I tell all of you with certainty, not even in Israel have I found this kind of faith!

1010 When Jesus heard him, He marveled and said to those who followed Him [ who adhered steadfastly to Him, conforming to His example in living and, if need be, in dying also], I tell you truly, I have not found so much faith as this with anyone, even in Israel.

1111 "I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;

1111 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

1111 I tell you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

1111 I tell all of you, many will come from east and west and will feast with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom from heaven.

1111 I tell you, many will come from east and west, and will sit at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,

1212 but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

1212 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

1212 But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

1212 But the unfaithful heirs of that kingdom will be thrown into the darkness outside. In that place there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

1212 While the sons and heirs of the kingdom will be driven out into the darkness outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.

1313 And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed that very moment.

1313 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

1313 Then Jesus told the centurion, "Go. As you have believed, let it be done for you." And his servant was cured that very moment.

1313 "Go," Jesus told the centurion, "and it will be done for you, just as you have believed." And his servant was healed that very hour.

1313 Then to the centurion Jesus said, Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed. And the servant boy was restored to health at that very moment.

1717 This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: "HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES."

1717 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

1717 so that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: He Himself took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.

1717 This was to fulfill what was declared by the prophet Isaiah when he said, "It was he who took our illnesses away and removed our diseases."

1717 And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took [ in order to carry away] our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases.

2929 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

2929 Suddenly they shouted, "What do You have to do with us, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"

2929 Suddenly, they screamed, "What do you want with us, Son of God? Did you come here to torture us before the proper time?"

3030 Now a long way off from them, a large herd of pigs was feeding.

3030 Now a large herd of pigs was grazing some distance away from them.

3030 Now at some distance from there a drove of many hogs was grazing.

3131 The demons began to entreat Him, saying, "If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of swine."

3131 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

3131 "If You drive us out," the demons begged Him, "send us into the herd of pigs."

3131 So the demons began to plead with Jesus, saying, "If you drive us out, send us into that herd of pigs."

3434 And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

3434 At that, the whole town went out to meet Jesus. When they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
