Now [as he] was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew, throwing a casting net into the sea (for they were fishermen).

Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot--the one who also betrayed him.
Is not this one the son of the carpenter? Is not his mother called Mary and his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?
And Simon Peter answered [and] said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!"
And Jesus answered [and] said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal [this] to you, but my Father [who is] in heaven.
He said, "Yes." And [when he] came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth collect tolls or taxes--from their own sons, or from foreigners?"
Now [while] Jesus was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,
And [as they] were going out, they found a man of Cyrene {named} Simon. They forced this man to carry his cross.

You have neither part nor share in this matter; for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent, there fore, of this your wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the purpose of your heart may be forgiven you. For I perceive that you are in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. But Simon answered and said: Pray you both to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken come upon me.
But when they believed Philip, who preached the good news concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were immersed, both men and women. And Simon himself also believed; and after he was immersed, he continued with Philip; and, seeing the mighty deeds and the signs which were done, he was astonished.
