1 Good the poor one going in his integrity above the perverse of lips, and he foolish.
1 (A)Better is a poor man who (B)walks in his integrityThan he who is perverse in (a)speech and is a fool.
1 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
1 A poor man who walks blamelessly is better than a fool who speaks perversely.
2 Also the soul without knowledge is not good, and he hastening with his feat, sins.
2 Also it is not good for a person to be without knowledge,And he who hurries (b)(C)his footsteps (c)errs.
2 Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
2 Furthermore, it isn't good to be ignorant, and whoever rushes into things misses the mark.
6 Many will wait for the face of the prince, and every one the friend to the man giving.
6 (I)Many will seek the favor of a (e)generous man,And every man is a friend to him who (J)gives gifts.
6 Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.
6 Many curry favor of an official; everyone is a friend of the gift giver.
7 All the brethren of the poor hated him: how much more his friends removed far from him? pursuing words they are not
7 All the brothers of a poor man hate him;How much more do his (K)friends abandon him!He (L)pursues them with words, but they are (f)gone.

7 All the relatives of a poor person shun him how much more do his friends avoid him! Though he runs after them pleading, they aren't around.
8 He obtaining a heart loved his soul: he watched understanding to find good.
8 He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.
8 The one who acquires good sense(c) loves himself;one who safeguards understanding finds success.(L)
8 Whoever obtains wisdom loves himself, and whoever treasures understanding will prosper.
11 The understanding of man will defer his anger: and his glory to pass over transgression.

13 A foolish son a calamity to his father: and the strifes of a woman a dropping thrust out

13 A father's ruin is a foolish son, and a wife's quarreling is like dripping water that never stops.
17 He pitying the poor lends to Jehovah, and he will recompense to him his act.
17 One who (Z)is gracious to a poor man lends to the Lord,And He will repay him for his (l)(AA)good deed.
17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
17 Whoever is kind to the poor is lending to the LORD the benefit of his gift will return to him in abundance.
19 The stern in wrath lifted up a fine: for if thou shalt deliver and thou shalt yet add.
19 A man of great anger will bear the penalty,For if you rescue him, you will only have to do it again.
19 A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.

23 The fear of Jehovah is to life: and he being filled shall lodge satisfied; he shall not be reviewed for evil.

25 Thou shalt strike him mocking, and the simple will be crafty: and reprove to him understanding, and he will understand knowledge.

25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.

25 If you scourge a scoffer, the simple person may learn to be discreet; rebuke a discerning man and he will gain understanding.
26 He oppressing the father and putting the mother to flight, is a son causing shame and causing disgrace.
26 He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.
26 The one who assaults his father and evicts his motheris a disgraceful and shameful son.
26 Whoever mistreats his father and alienates his mother is a son who brings both shame and disrespect.
27 Cease, my son, to hear instructions for erring from the words of knowledge.
27 Cease listening, my son, to discipline,And you will stray from the words of knowledge.
27 Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.
27 If you stop listening to correction, my son,you will stray from the words of knowledge.
27 My son, if you stop listening to instruction, you will stray from the principles of knowledge.
28 A witness of Belial shall mock judgment: and the mouth of the unjust will swallow down iniquity.
28 A rascally witness makes a mockery of justice,And the mouth of the wicked (t)(AN)spreads iniquity.
28 An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity.
28 A corrupt witness mocks justice, and the wicked person feeds on iniquity.
