Lament During The Babylonian Exile

¹ By the rivers of Babylon,
There we sat down and wept,
When we remembered Zion.
² In the midst of it we hung our harps on poplar trees.

Ezekiel 1:1

I was living among the exiles by the Chebar River. On the fifth day of the fourth month in the thirtieth year the [figurative] heaven opened and I saw visions from God.

Ezekiel 1:3
