¹² teaching us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and righteously, and godly in the present age; ¹³ looking for the blissful hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; ¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works.
