וַיָּבֹ֗אוּ
way·yā·ḇō·’ū,
וַֽיִּקְרְאוּ֮
way·yiq·rə·’ū
and called
אֶל־
’el-
to
שֹׁעֵ֣ר
šō·‘êr
､ הָעִיר֒
hā·‘îr
of the city ､
וַיַּגִּ֤ידוּ
way·yag·gî·ḏū
and told
לָהֶם֙
lā·hem
､ לֵאמֹ֔ר
lê·mōr,
saying ､
בָּ֚אנוּ
bā·nū
we went
אֶל־
’el-
to
מַחֲנֵ֣ה
ma·ḥă·nêh
the camp
､ אֲרָ֔ם
’ă·rām,
of Syria ､
､ וְהִנֵּ֥ה
wə·hin·nêh
and surprisingly ､
אֵֽין־
’ên-
no
､ שָׁ֛ם
šām
there ､
אִ֖ישׁ
’îš
וְק֣וֹל
wə·qō·wl
and sound
､ אָדָ֑ם
’ā·ḏām;
not a human ､
כִּ֣י
kî
אִם־
’im-
הַסּ֤וּס
has·sūs
､ אָסוּר֙
’ā·sūr
tied ､
וְהַחֲמ֣וֹר
wə·ha·ḥă·mō·wr
､ אָס֔וּר
’ā·sūr,
tied ､
וְאֹהָלִ֖ים
wə·’ō·hā·lîm
and the tents
כַּאֲשֶׁר־
ka·’ă·šer-
just as
. הֵֽמָּה׃
hêm·māh.
