'Bear Fruit' in the Bible
And God said, "Let the earth bring forth herb and grass that sow seed, and fruitful trees that bear fruit, every one in his kind, having their seed in themselves, upon the earth." And it came so to pass.
And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.
They will still bear fruit in old age,healthy and green,
And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit.
And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
“Drip down, O heavens, from above,And let the clouds pour down righteousness;Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit,And righteousness spring up with it.I, the Lord, have created it.
You plant them and they take root, they grow and bear fruit. "You are near to us," they say with their mouths, but the truth is that you're far from their hearts.
It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine.

Lining each side of the river banks, all sorts of species of fruit trees will be growing. Their leaves will never wither and their fruit will never fail. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves will contain substances that promote healing."

And do not even begin to say to yourselves [as a defense], ‘We have Abraham for our father [and so our heritage assures us of salvation]’; for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children (descendants) for Abraham [for God can replace the unrepentant, regardless of their heritage, with those who are obedient].
And the [seed] that fell into the thorn plants--these are the ones who hear and [as they] go along are choked by the worries and riches and pleasures of life, and they do not bear fruit to maturity.
And that in the good ground: These are they, who in an upright and good heart, having heard the word, do retain it, and bear fruit in continuance.
And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit].
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

But if living on here means having my labor bear fruit, I cannot tell which to choose.
so that you might live in a manner worthy of the Lord and be fully pleasing to him as you bear fruit while doing all kinds of good things and growing in the full knowledge of God.
