Public Ministry In Galilee

Matthew 4:12-17

12 After this, Jesus having heard that John was confined in prison, retired into Galilee. 13 and leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, a maritime town upon the confines of Zabulon and Nepthalim: 14 whereby those words of Esaias the prophet, had their full effect, "the land of Zabulon,

15 and the land of Nephthalim, lying upon the sea, and about Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles: 16 the people which sat in darkness, saw a great light: and to those who sat in the region and shadow of death, light is sprung up."

17 from that time Jesus began to preach, "Repent, said he, for the kingdom of the Messiah draws nigh."

Mark 1:14-15

14 But after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, spreading the good news of the kingdom of the Messiah. 15 "the time, said he, is accomplish'd, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."

Luke 4:14-15

14 Jesus return'd by the influence of the spirit into Galilee, where his same quickly spread over all the country; 15 for he preach'd in their synagogues with universal applause.
