Luke 6:37-42 - The Sermon On The Plain: On Judging Others

37 Judge not, and you shall not be judged; condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be for given. 38 Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your lap. For with the same measure with which you measure, it shall be measured to you in return.

39 And he spoke a parable to them: Can the blind lead the blind? Will not both fall into the pit? 40 The disciple is not above his teacher; but every accomplished disciple shall be as his teacher.

41 And why do you look at the splinter that is in your brother's eye, but perceive not the beam that is in your own eye? 42 Or, how can you say to your brother: Brother, let me pull out the splinter that is in your eye, when you yourself see not the beam that is in your own eye? Hypocrite, first pull the beam out of your own eye, and then you shall see clearly to pull out the splinter that is in your brother's eye.
