If, therefore, your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by doing this, you will heap coals of fire on his head.

And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have any thing against any one, that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your offenses. But if you do not forgive, your Father who is in heaven will not forgive your offenses.

For if you forgive men their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you forgive not men their offenses, neither will your Father forgive your offenses.

Jesus said to him: I say to you, Not till seven times, but till seventy times seven. I forgave you all that debt, because you besought me. Ought you not to have had mercy on your fellow-servant, even as I had mercy on you? And his lord was angry, and delivered him to the jailers, till he should pay all that was due him. So also will my heavenly Father do to you, if, from your hearts, you forgive not every one his brother's offenses.

Take heed to yourselves; if your brother sin against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he sin against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to you and say, I repent, you shall forgive him.
