When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help, and saying, "Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, in terrible distress." read more. For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it." When Jesus heard him, he marveled, and said to those who followed him, "Truly, I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith. I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Then to the centurion Jesus said, "Go; be it done for you as you have believed." And his servant was healed at that very hour.
