And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, "See that no one knows it." But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region. As they were going out, behold, a mute and demon-possessed man was brought to him. And when the demon had been cast out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds marveled, saying, "Never was anything like this seen in Israel."

As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.

And Jesus went on from there and passed along the Sea of Galilee. And he went up on the mountain, and sat down there. Then great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the maimed, the blind, the mute, and many others; and they laid them down at his feet, and he healed them. So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

At Lystra there was a man sitting who had no strength in his feet, lame from birth, who had never walked.

Then he departed from the region of Tyre, and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, through the region of the Decapolis. Then they brought to him a man who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged him to put his hand on him. And looking up to heaven he sighed and said to him, "Ephphatha," that is, "Be opened." And [immediately] his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. And he commanded them to tell no one; but the more he charged them, the more widely they proclaimed it. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf to hear and the mute to speak."

And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren.

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

At that very hour he cured many of diseases and afflictions and evil spirits, and to many that were blind he gave sight. He answered them, "Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have the good news preached to them. By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, because she considered him faithful who had promised.
