And in this do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.

Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit,

For, for this cause pay you tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Giving thanks unto the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Continue in prayer, and watch in it with thanksgiving;

But has in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Savior;

For this cause I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed you:

Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
