Look! They lie in wait for my life;
Fierce and powerful men [are uniting together to] launch an attack against me,
Not for my wrongdoing nor for any sin of mine, O Lord.

I am considered as one of those descending into the Pit, like a mighty man without strength,

Then thou spoke in a vision to thy sanctified, and said, I have laid help upon a mighty [man]. I have exalted a chosen [man] out of the people.
